Before:

This handsome hall bath was created to upgrade the existing bath and give the homeowners something they would feel comfortable offering to a guest to use. We created a light filled room by using recessed light, vanity light, and the glass block to allow in the daylight into the tub/shower area as well as overall. We needed to design the bath around the window, so we removed the end wall of the shower stall, and replaced it with glass block to let more light in. It still affords privacy in the toilet area. We made the vanity area a special decorative feature by installing a bright blue and pale yellow granite top that is very unique. It is the focus of the bath once you pass the glass block wall. The maple cabinetry gives them plenty of storage space for smaller items, and the closet can now be used for linens only. The floor tile is a shade darker than the wall tiles, and picks up on the cabinetry. The light tiles in the shower are interspersed with a decorative diamond tile that picks up the cabinetry and the blue granite tones.
