This kitchen at the back of the home was always open to the 80's style family room, but it was not large enough or functional enough for the size of the house, and it was very dated. The homeowners wanted it upgraded, and they wanted someother changes in the family room as well. We tied it all together with the wood tones and the dark granite makes a nice contrast. We also designed and installed the new fireplace surround, giving the entire room a dramatic focal point.
